War 2 is all set to become one of the biggest Bollywood movies of 2025. This high-octane action film is the sixth installment in the famous YRF Spy Universe, following hits like Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathaan, and Tiger 3. The movie is the official sequel to the 2019 blockbuster War, and will release in theatres on August 14, 2025, just in time for Independence Day week.
Plot: Hrithik Roshan returns as Kabir
Hrithik Roshan returns as Major Kabir Dhaliwal, the stylish and powerful Indian spy. This time, Kabir takes on a dangerous new mission that takes him around the globe. He finds himself up against a powerful new enemy played by Jr NTR, who is making his Bollywood debut with this film. Known for his intense performances in Telugu films like RRR, Jr NTR’s role in War 2 promises to be a major highlight.
Although the full story is still a secret, early teasers show thrilling action, suspense, and a dramatic clash between Hrithik and Jr NTR. The movie will be a globe-trotting adventure with scenes filmed in Spain, Italy, Abu Dhabi, Japan, Russia, and India.
