Salman Khan’s action film Sikandar may not have done well at the box office, but it has found a new audience on Netflix. The movie made a strong debut on the streaming platform and entered Netflix’s global top 10 list. It stayed in the top 10 for two weeks, although it dropped in ranking in its second week.

Sikandar is directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, who has been working with Salman Khan since their blockbuster Kick in 2014. The movie stars Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, Sathyaraj, Jatin Sarna, Sanjay Kapoor, Prateik Babbar, and Kishore in key roles.

Sikandar’s Performance on Netflix

In its first week on Netflix, Sikandar pulled in 5.1 million views and 11.4 million watch hours, making it the third-best OTT debut of 2025, behind only Jewel Thief and Pushpa 2. It reached the #3 spot globally on Netflix’s weekly top 10 list.

However, the film’s momentum dropped in the second week. From June 2 to 8, Sikandar collected only 1.6 million views and 3.5 million watch hours, slipping to the #9 position on the global chart. It was beaten by newer titles like Jaat starring Sunny Deol, which entered the top 5 in its debut week. A Widow’s Game continues to lead the global chart at #1.

In India, Sikandar is currently at #4, trailing behind HIT 3, Retro, and the new entry Jaat.
