Tamannaah Bhatia’s latest Telugu supernatural thriller Odela 2 is sadly turning into a real-life horror story at the box office. While it promised to thrill audiences with its spooky theme, the film is now struggling to survive financially. After 15 days of its release, the movie has failed to impress both critics and viewers and is heading toward a disappointing end.

Odela 2 Box Office Collection Day 15

On its 15th day, Odela 2 earned only ₹3 lakhs across India. Although this is a 50% increase from Day 14, where it made just ₹2 lakhs, the jump isn’t enough to save the film. So far, the movie has managed to collect ₹5.66 crores (India net total) after two full weeks and one extra day.

Given its high budget of ₹25 crores, the movie has only recovered about 22.6% of its costs. This makes Odela 2 a massive box office disaster. At this pace, the film might not even cross the ₹6 crore mark before ending its run in theatres.

A Disappointing Performance Despite Tamannaah’s Star Power

Tamannaah Bhatia, known for her strong screen presence and previous box office hits, could not save Odela 2 from sinking. Her star power usually helps boost a film’s collections, but this time, not even her popularity could help. This has left fans disappointed, especially because they had high expectations from the film.

While some viewers appreciated Tamannaah’s performance, most criticized the film’s direction and overall execution. Many felt that the storyline lacked freshness and that the movie failed to keep the audience engaged.

Comparing Odela 2 with Tamannaah’s Previous Horror Film

When we compare Odela 2 with Tamannaah’s earlier horror film Aranmanai 4 (released in 2024), the difference is huge. Aranmanai 4 was not a blockbuster but still managed to make profits and received a “plus” verdict at the box office. In its 15-day run, that film collected ₹50.45 crores in India.

This means Odela 2 is performing 88% worse than Aranmanai 4. The gap is wide and clearly shows how poorly Odela 2 has done, both in terms of box office numbers and audience reception.

What Went Wrong?

Odela 2 was directed by Ashok Teja and had all the ingredients of a hit—popular lead actress, supernatural theme, and a decent budget. However, weak storytelling, poor direction, and lack of audience connection seem to have contributed to its downfall. Reviews from both critics and moviegoers have been mostly negative, with many calling the movie dull and unimpressive.

Final Verdict

Odela 2 has sadly failed to live up to expectations. Despite Tamannaah Bhatia’s strong fan following, the movie could not pull crowds to the theatres. With collections barely crossing ₹5.66 crores in 15 days, the film is now considered a box office disaster. Unless something unexpected happens, Odela 2 will end its theatrical run far below its budget, making it one of the biggest flops in Tamannaah Bhatia’s career.
