Actors Tamannaah Bhatia and Sidharth Malhotra are all set to share screen space in an upcoming mythological film titled Vvan – Force of the Forest. The film, which is directed by Arunabh Kumar and Deepak Mishra, promises to take viewers on a journey inspired by Indian mythology and folklore.
Tamannaah Bhatia was earlier reported to be excited about being part of this unique project. The makers officially introduced her with a teaser that has sparked a mix of reactions online. While many were thrilled to see Tamannaah and Sidharth together for the first time, some fans expressed disappointment over the use of AI visuals in the teaser.
The teaser video features a woman—likely representing Tamannaah’s character—running through a thick forest. She pauses to light a diya (lamp) and continues walking, guided by the flame. The visuals suggest a mystical, spiritual tone. Similarly, when Sidharth was introduced as the lead earlier, a teaser showed a man walking through a forest with a torch, hinting at a parallel storyline.
Sidharth Malhotra took to social media to welcome Tamannaah Bhatia to the film. Sharing the teaser, he wrote,
“Indian mythology and mysticism, VVAN – Force of the Forest unfolds a tale straight from the pages of history and folklore. Delighted to welcome @tamannaahspeaks to this powerful narrative — a force in her own right, ready to command the screen like never before.”
In an earlier post, Sidharth had expressed his excitement about the project, saying:
“Excited to be part of this folk thriller, with a powerhouse team, directed by @arunabhkumar and @deepakmishra18. Can’t wait for you all to experience VVAN – Force of the Forest on the big screen in 2025.”
However, there’s been a change in plans. While the film was earlier expected to release in 2025, new updates suggest it will now hit theatres in 2026. The makers have not yet revealed the full cast or detailed storyline. Fans are eagerly waiting for more information.
According to reports, Vvan will be shot in real forest locations, adding authenticity to its visual storytelling. The team is currently in the pre-production phase and is scouting suitable forest areas for filming. A major part of the movie’s narrative is set in the forest, which makes the choice of location very important.
On the work front, Sidharth Malhotra will also be seen in Param Sundari opposite Janhvi Kapoor. Tamannaah Bhatia, meanwhile, recently appeared in the dance number Nasha from Raid 2, which received a lot of attention for her bold performance.
With a fresh pairing, a unique mythological theme, and grand visuals, Vvan has already caught the attention of fans and movie lovers. Whether the AI-generated teasers live up to the expectations or not, the buzz around this film is certainly growing.
