“If it was Hera Pheri, if it wasn’t Babu Bhai (Paresh Rawal) and Raju (Akshay Kumar), Shyam (Suniel Shetty) wouldn’t exist, and Shyam has no meaning. You take any one of them out, and the film doesn’t work,” he explained.

Suniel believes that the special thing about Hera Pheri is the chemistry between the three lead characters. Without it, the magic is gone.

Suniel’s Love for Multi-Starrer Films

Suniel Shetty also talked about why he enjoys working in multi-starrer films like Hera Pheri and Border. He said that it’s the strength and uniqueness of the character that pulls him toward such movies.

“It’s always the role, it’s the character. How often do such characters come to you? Very rare,” he said.

He also recalled Border, saying every actor in that film was loved equally. According to him, the same kind of love and balance was there in Hera Pheri as well.

His Role in Kesari Veer

Suniel Shetty also shared a bit about his role in the upcoming film Kesari Veer. He said he was drawn to the emotional side of the character. Even if the role is small, if it has depth and emotion, he’s always ready to take it on.

“Even if it’s just two scenes with that kind of depth, I wouldn’t bat an eyelid. I’d want to do it,” he stated.
