In fact, he was given a government bungalow in Mandleshwar, located about 50 kilometers from Khargone district in Madhya Pradesh. He lived there between 1942 and 1948 while serving the nation.
For his courage and exceptional service, the Holkar Kingdom of Indore honored him with the title “Diler Jung,” which means “Brave Warrior.” This title reflected the admiration and respect he earned during his time in the police force.
Later, Abdul Rashid Khan’s son, Salim Khan, chose a different path and entered the film industry. He moved to Mumbai and became a famous screenwriter, giving Indian cinema many hit films. His sons—Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan, and Sohail Khan—continued the family’s journey in Bollywood, becoming actors and filmmakers.
Both Salman Khan and his father, Salim Khan, were born in Indore, which connects them even more deeply to their roots. While Salim earned fame through his writing, Salman became a beloved superstar known for his roles that often celebrate honor, justice, and heroism—just like his grandfather in real life.
