Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has received another death threat, adding to a growing list of threats the actor has been facing since last year. According to media reports, an unknown person recently sent a WhatsApp message to Mumbai’s Transport Department in Worli. The message threatened to blow up Salman Khan’s car and also warned of a plan to kill him inside his home in Mumbai.
The police have taken this threat very seriously. A case has been registered at Worli Police Station, and officials are now investigating where the message came from and whether the threat is real. This latest incident has raised more concern about the actor’s safety.
Multiple Death Threats Linked to Gang Activity
This is not the first time Salman Khan has been targeted. Over the past year, he has received several death threats. Many of them are believed to be connected to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Reports suggest that the gang is targeting Salman due to his alleged involvement in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case.
In a major incident last year in April, two men opened fire outside Galaxy Apartment, where Salman lives in Bandra, Mumbai. Fortunately, no one was hurt. The two suspects were later arrested in Gujarat and were said to have links to the Bishnoi gang. Apart from that, there have also been ransom demands made by individuals claiming to be part of the gang.
Salman Khan Responds to Threats
Despite the serious nature of the threats, Salman Khan has remained calm. During a press conference in Mumbai, the actor shared his thoughts, saying:
“Bhagwan, Allah sab unpar hai. Jitni umar likhi hai, utni likhi hai. Bas yahi hai.”
(Translation: “God and Allah are watching over us. I will live for as long as it’s written in my fate. That’s all.”)
His response shows that he is leaving everything to destiny and not letting fear take control of his life.
Security Tightened Around the Actor
Due to these ongoing threats, Salman Khan has been under tight security since last year. Whether it’s at events, airports, or public appearances, his personal security team is always by his side. He was even seen surrounded by his team during his Eid celebration this year.
To further ensure his safety, the Mumbai Police has granted Salman Khan Y-plus security. This includes a police escort vehicle that follows his car wherever he goes. Recently, after the passing of politician Baba Siddique, the government has also placed Special Reserve Police Force (SRPF) personnel outside Khan’s Bandra and Panvel residences.
Ongoing Investigation
As of now, police officials are trying to trace the person behind the WhatsApp threat. They are checking phone records and digital trails to identify the sender and confirm if the message is credible.
With every new threat, concerns over Salman Khan’s safety continue to grow. Fans and the film industry alike hope that the authorities will soon catch those responsible and ensure the actor remains protected.
