Film producer Ravi Bhagchandka, who earlier worked on Sachin: A Billion Dreams, is back with another exciting project. This time, he has joined hands with Aamir Khan Productions for a new movie titled Sitaare Zameen Par. This upcoming film is said to be the spiritual sequel to Aamir Khan’s much-loved 2007 film, Taare Zameen Par.
For Ravi, working with Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar on Sachin: A Billion Dreams was a dream come true. Now, he feels equally honored to collaborate with Bollywood icon Aamir Khan. After the first poster of Sitaare Zameen Par was shared, Ravi posted on social media, saying,
“Lived my childhood dream working with @sachintendulkar, now continuing the tradition with another icon! Sitaare Zameen Par is another step forward in our journey towards captivating unique stories. #SitaareZameenPar #SabkaApnaApnaNormal, 20th June Only In Theatres.”
Ravi’s earlier film, Sachin: A Billion Dreams, beautifully portrayed the inspiring journey of cricket superstar Sachin Tendulkar. The film was well-received by fans and sports lovers across the country. Currently, Ravi is also working on a biopic based on cricketer Yuvraj Singh, which he is developing alongside Sitaare Zameen Par.
Sitaare Zameen Par promises to be a heartwarming film with a strong message. Directed by R.S. Prasanna, who is known for the successful romantic comedy Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, the movie is set to release in theatres on June 20, 2025.
The film features Aamir Khan in the lead, alongside Genelia Deshmukh. It will also introduce a fresh group of talented newcomers to the big screen. The cast includes Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar.
