Raveena Tandon, one of the most popular actresses of the 90s, recently spoke about her time in Bollywood and praised her co-star Govinda. In an interview shared by The Indian Express, Raveena looked back fondly on working with the legendary actor and called him a “rare gem” and a “humongous talent.”

Raveena Tandon ruled Bollywood during the 90s with her powerful screen presence, charm, and versatility. She acted in a variety of films, from action-packed dramas to laugh-out-loud comedies. In the 2000s, she took on serious roles and even won the prestigious National Film Award for Best Actress for her performance in Daman. Today, Raveena continues to impress audiences with her new projects in films and web series.

While talking about her co-stars from the golden era, she mentioned several top names like Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and especially Govinda. Among them, Govinda stood out for her, as someone who brought fun, energy, and incredible talent to every set they worked on.

Raveena and Govinda starred in many hit films together. She spoke about her experiences filming with him and said, “There can never be another Govinda. I had the pleasure of doing six films with him. What a fantastic journey it has been for Govinda, and I believe he still has a long way to go. He is one of the simplest and sweetest co-stars I’ve worked with. He was always easy to work with, never insecure, and completely confident in his own skills. And what a humongous talent!”

She also praised his natural comic timing and exceptional dance moves, calling him a rare mix of actor and dancer. “Doing scenes and songs with him was a learning experience for me,” she said. “We did many popular songs and dance numbers together.”

Two of their most famous songs, Ankhiyon Se Goli Mare and Kisi Disco Mein Jaaye, are still loved by fans today. Raveena revealed an interesting behind-the-scenes detail — both songs were shot and completed in just one day each, from sunrise to sunset. This was quite an achievement, especially since most Bollywood songs typically take four to five days to shoot.

The duo worked together in popular films like Dulhe Raja, Aunty No. 1, and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, all of which were major box office successes. Their chemistry and comic timing made these movies memorable.

Meanwhile, Raveena Tandon continues to explore different roles. She was recently seen in the films Ghudchadi and Patna Shukla. She also played a key role in the thriller series Karmaa Calling, where her performance was appreciated.

With a career full of iconic roles and unforgettable performances, Raveena Tandon remains a strong force in Indian cinema. Her words about Govinda serve as a heartfelt tribute to one of Bollywood’s most beloved entertainers.
