Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi’s Time Loop Rom-Com Bhool Chuk Maaf Promises Laughter, Love & Chaos.

After the massive success of Stree 2, Rajkummar Rao is back with another exciting film—Bhool Chuk Maaf. This time, he teams up with Wamiqa Gabbi for the very first time. The film is produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films and promises a unique blend of romance, comedy, and a twist of mystery.

The official trailer was launched today, giving audiences a glimpse into the fun and chaos that awaits. The story is set in the vibrant city of Varanasi, where love, tradition, and unexpected surprises come together.

Rajkummar plays Ranjan, a hopeless romantic who is madly in love with Titli, played by Wamiqa Gabbi. To impress her and her family, Ranjan manages to land a secure government job. Everything seems perfect, and their wedding is just a day away.

But then, something strange happens.

After enjoying his haldi ceremony, Ranjan goes to bed excited about the wedding. However, when he wakes up the next day, he finds himself reliving the haldi ceremony all over again. This odd repetition continues, and Ranjan realizes he is stuck in a time loop, repeating the same day again and again.

Now, Ranjan must figure out what went wrong. Why is he trapped in this loop? What message is the universe—or Mahadev—trying to send him? And most importantly, what must he do to break the cycle and marry the love of his life?

Producer Dinesh Vijan shares, “The best stories come from the heart of India. Bhool Chuk Maaf captures the two biggest dreams of small-town India: finding the right girl and getting a stable job. Or as we say—chokri aur naukri. Ranjan and Titli are deeply in love but caught between romance and the pressures of real life. The film is full of humor, emotion, and the traditions that define us. It’s a reminder to believe in love and life again.”

Director and writer Karan Sharma adds, “We’ve taken a light-hearted idea and given it a lot of depth. It’s about family, faith, and self-discovery—but told through comedy and confusion. This is a film everyone can enjoy, especially families.”

Bhool Chuk Maaf is directed by Karan Sharma and will hit theatres on May 9.
