Pan-India superstar Prabhas, who has been recovering from a knee injury in Italy, is expected to return to India very soon. The actor has been spending over a month in the European country, focusing on healing and resting. Now, sources close to the actor reveal that he will be back in action by the end of May 2025.

Prabhas to Resume Fauji Shoot in Hyderabad

After returning from Italy, Prabhas will directly head to the sets of his upcoming film Fauji (working title), which is being directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. The shooting will reportedly resume at a studio in Hyderabad in just a few days. According to the latest reports, Prabhas is expected to join the team in the last week of May.

The actor has not been part of the film’s shoot ever since he suffered the knee injury. Now that he is recovering well, the team is eager to get back to work with a long and packed shooting schedule. This schedule is expected to last over a month as the team plans to make up for lost time.

Team to Make Up for Delay in Fauji

A source close to the project shared, “Since Prabhas took a break due to his injury, the team could not shoot many important scenes. Now that he is returning, they want to finish a major chunk of the film. As Prabhas also has another movie to shoot — The Raja Saab — the makers of Fauji are planning a long schedule to use his available dates wisely.”

The team is working hard to ensure that the delay caused by the star’s health break does not affect the film’s overall timeline. They aim to wrap up most of the scenes during this long shoot to stay on track.

Prabhas Also Plans to Finish The Raja Saab

Once Fauji’s major shoot is completed, Prabhas is expected to shift focus to his other film, The Raja Saab, directed by Maruthi. This film is a horror comedy, and the team still needs to shoot a few songs and some dialogue portions.

With both projects in the final stages, Prabhas is planning to wrap up work quickly. This will also allow him and the producers to choose a suitable release date based on the competition and availability of slots in the market.

Fauji: A Period War Drama Set in the 1940s

Fauji is a period drama set in the 1940s. The film tells the story of a brave warrior who comes from a troubled past. The character rises to fight for justice in a time when war was seen as the only solution to deep-rooted societal issues. Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, who is known for his strong storytelling, the film promises to showcase a new side of Prabhas in a never-before-seen role.

Fans of Prabhas are eagerly waiting to see their favorite star back on the big screen. After the grand success of his previous films, expectations are high for both Fauji and The Raja Saab. His commitment to quickly returning to work despite his injury shows how dedicated he is to his craft.
