Nani’s highly anticipated film HIT 3 has finally hit the big screens, and it has made a powerful impact on its opening day! With a strong buzz and the popularity of the HIT franchise, the film was expected to open well. Thanks to Nani’s growing stardom and the audience’s love for thrillers, HIT 3 didn’t disappoint and managed to put up solid numbers at the Indian box office on its first day.

Excellent Start at the Box Office

From the very first show, HIT 3 started on a strong note. The film is receiving a great response, especially in the Telugu version. According to early reports, the film recorded an impressive 80% occupancy in the morning shows. The momentum increased further in the afternoon with 92% occupancy, while the evening shows held strong at 91%. Even the night shows remained strong, indicating that audiences were turning up in large numbers throughout the day.

The Telugu version clearly led the way, as expected, but the dubbed versions also performed fairly well.

Dubbing Versions Also Show Promise

The Tamil-dubbed version of HIT 3 also had a decent opening. It recorded 39% occupancy in the morning, went up to 55% in the afternoon, and stayed stable at 33% in the evening. The night shows saw a small jump, showing growing interest from Tamil audiences.

The Kannada version had an average start with around 22% occupancy, while the Hindi version performed better with 29% occupancy across all shows. Interestingly, the Malayalam version also saw a decent 29% occupancy, which is a positive sign for the film’s reach in South India beyond Telugu-speaking states.

Day 1 Collection: Nani’s Second Biggest Opener

With such strong occupancy and wide interest across multiple languages, HIT 3 collected an estimated ₹18-20 crore net on its first day at the Indian box office. This is an outstanding number, especially considering the film’s A (Adult) certification, which generally limits the potential audience.

The majority of the earnings have, unsurprisingly, come from the Telugu states – Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. But the performance in other regions has also contributed to the impressive total.

This powerful start makes HIT 3 the second-biggest opener in Nani’s career, just behind his 2023 blockbuster Dasara, which opened with ₹23.20 crore net in India. That film remains Nani’s biggest opener, but HIT 3 has now claimed the second spot comfortably.

What’s Next for HIT 3?

Thanks to the strong opening day numbers, HIT 3 is off to a fantastic start. The real test now lies in how well the film holds over the weekend and into the weekdays. With positive word-of-mouth and strong initial reception, HIT 3 has a good chance to become another big success for Nani.

It will be exciting to see how far the film goes at the box office in the coming days.
