Budget and Profit
Maranamass was made on a budget of just ₹8 crore, which is considered a controlled or small budget in the film industry. With ₹18.77 crore net in earnings, the movie made a profit of around ₹10.77 crore, giving it a Return on Investment (ROI) of 134.62%. According to Koimoi’s box office verdict system, any film with more than 100% ROI is declared a Hit, so Maranamass has officially ended its theatrical journey with a Hit tag.

Besides Basil Joseph and Rajesh Madhavan, the film also features Siju Sunny, Babu Antony, and Suresh Krishna in important roles. The film was jointly produced by Tovino Thomas Productions, Rapheal Productions, and World Wide Films.
Digital Release on Sony LIV
If you missed watching Maranamass in theatres, here’s some good news. The film will start streaming online on Sony LIV from Thursday, May 15, 2025.
