A source shared more details, saying, “Nagzilla will have two versions of Kartik—one leaning towards the hero side and the other with shades of a villain. But unlike intense thrillers, this film brings comedy into the mix. It’s like Shah Rukh Khan’s double role in Jawan but with a humorous twist.”
The film will be directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, best known for the Fukrey series. However, insiders claim that Nagzilla will be even funnier than all the Fukrey films combined. This project marks Mrighdeep’s most ambitious and entertaining film to date.
“Mrighdeep started developing Nagzilla along with producer Mahaveer Jain,” the source explained. “Later, Karan Johar joined the team to make it even bigger. The production is fully geared up and will start shooting in September 2025, right after Kartik finishes working on ‘Tu Meri Main Tera Main Mera Tu Meri’.”
The release date for Nagzilla is set for the second half of 2026, making it one of the most exciting films to look forward to in the coming years.
