Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi is set to surprise audiences with a special dance cameo in Rajkummar Rao’s upcoming gangster thriller Maalik. According to a report by Mid-Day, Huma Qureshi filmed her dance sequence in November last year. A source revealed, “Rajkummar’s character and his gang receive a tip-off that the person they are looking for is at a local bar. They go there for a quick operation, and that’s where Huma is seen performing.”
The song is choreographed in a raw and intense style, similar to Katrina Kaif’s hit dance number Chikni Chameli from Agneepath (2012). Since Maalik is set in Allahabad and Lucknow, the filmmakers created a bar set inspired by the ones commonly found in Lucknow to enhance the film’s authenticity.
Rajkummar Rao’s Transformation in Maalik
Maalik marks a significant shift for Rajkummar Rao, who is stepping into the role of a full-fledged gangster for the first time.
