Nani’s action thriller HIT 3 has been doing well at the box office, but it still has a long way to go to be declared a “hit.” As of Day 14, the film has earned a total of ₹75.25 crore in India, recovering its budget and entering the profit zone. However, to be officially called a hit, the film needs to make much more.

HIT 3 Budget & Profit Status

The film was made on a budget of ₹70 crore and has so far made a profit of ₹5.25 crore, which is around 7.5%. While this is a good sign for the makers, HIT 3 is still far from its target. The film needs to collect ₹140 crore in total to be considered a box office hit. That means it’s only halfway there.

Unless HIT 3 sees a strong surge in collections over the third weekend, it might fall short of the “hit” mark during its theatrical run.

HIT 3 Box Office Collection Day 14

On its 14th day (Wednesday, May 14), HIT 3 collected just ₹75 lakh. This is a drop of 34% from Day 13’s collection of ₹1.15 crore. The second week is showing a downward trend, and it will be interesting to see whether the film can bounce back during the third weekend.

Here’s a detailed day-wise box office collection breakdown for HIT 3:

  • Day 1 (Friday): ₹21 crore
  • Day 2 (Saturday): ₹10.5 crore
  • Day 3 (Sunday): ₹10.4 crore
  • Day 4 (Monday): ₹10.25 crore
  • Day 5 (Tuesday): ₹3.65 crore
  • Day 6 (Wednesday): ₹3.25 crore
  • Day 7 (Thursday): ₹2.35 crore
  • Day 8 (Second Friday): ₹2.25 crore
  • Day 9 (Saturday): ₹2.75 crore
  • Day 10 (Sunday): ₹3 crore
  • Day 11 (Monday): ₹2.6 crore
  • Day 12 (Tuesday): ₹1.35 crore
  • Day 13 (Wednesday): ₹1.15 crore
  • Day 14 (Thursday): ₹0.75 crore

Total: ₹75.25 crore (India)

HIT Universe Box Office: HIT 3 Outperforms Prequels

The HIT franchise has grown significantly with each installment. The first film, HIT: The First Case, earned only ₹8 crore worldwide. The second part, HIT: The Second Case, performed better and made ₹41.85 crore globally.

Combined, the first two parts of the HIT Universe earned ₹49.85 crore worldwide.

In comparison, HIT 3 has earned a massive ₹113.27 crore worldwide so far — which is 127% higher than the total global collection of HIT and HIT 2 combined. This shows the rising popularity of the franchise and Nani’s growing star power.

Final Verdict

Even though HIT 3 has entered the profit zone and surpassed the combined worldwide collections of its earlier parts, it still has a steep climb ahead to reach the ₹140 crore mark needed for a “hit” verdict.

As the third weekend approaches, fans and the industry are waiting to see whether the film can pick up pace again. If it does, Nani’s HIT 3 could turn the tide and end its theatrical journey on a high note.
