Nani’s upcoming action thriller HIT 3 has officially opened its advance booking in India. The film has made a strong start, selling over 25,000 tickets on its first day of advance bookings through BookMyShow (BMS). Starring Nani and Vijay Sethupathi, this much-awaited film is all set to hit theaters on May 1, 2025.
Nani vs Ram Charan: A New Battle in Advance Booking
There’s a lot of excitement around HIT 3, especially because Nani is now competing with Ram Charan in advance ticket sales. Ram Charan’s upcoming film, Game Changer, directed by Shankar, currently holds the record for the best ticket pre-sales for a Telugu movie on BMS in 2025.
While it’s going to be extremely difficult for HIT 3 to break the top records, Nani has his eyes set on beating Ram Charan’s numbers. Game Changer registered a massive 815,000 advance ticket sales on BMS, a huge milestone in Telugu cinema this year.
As of now, HIT 3 has only achieved about 3% of what Game Changer did, but there are still four days left before the movie’s release. Fans are hopeful that ticket sales will pick up pace in the coming days.
Where Will HIT 3 Rank Among Telugu Blockbusters?
Looking at the current list of top Telugu films by ticket pre-sales on BMS, here’s where the numbers stand:

- Kalki 2898 AD – 1.72 Million tickets
- Salaar – 1.66 Million tickets
- Devara – 1.31 Million tickets
- Game Changer – 815K tickets
- Guntur Kaaram – 739K tickets
- Sankranthiki Vasthunam – 442K tickets
- HanuMan – 286K tickets
- Daaku Maharaaj – 235K tickets
Given the current situation, it is nearly impossible for HIT 3 to break into the top four, dominated by mega releases like Pushpa 2 and Kalki 2898 AD. Pushpa 2’s record of 3 million ticket sales seems unbeatable for now.
However, if HIT 3 sees strong momentum in the next few days, Nani might surpass Game Changer’s ticket pre-sales and secure the fifth spot. Even if he cannot overtake Ram Charan’s film, breaking into the top six or seven would still be a big achievement for HIT 3.
Final Thoughts
Nani has a strong fan base, and with Vijay Sethupathi also joining him in HIT 3, there is a lot of positive buzz. As we get closer to the release date, promotions, positive word-of-mouth, and fan excitement could push ticket sales higher.
