Emraan Hashmi is back with an action-packed film, Ground Zero, which hit theatres on April 25, 2025. The movie is inspired by a real-life story and features Sai Tamhankar and Zoya Hussain in key roles. Even though the film’s opening day didn’t see large crowds, those who have watched it are calling it a must-watch.

Ground Zero is based on the life of BSF officer Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey. He played a key role in leading the mission that killed Jaish-e-Mohammed’s top commander, Ghazi Baba, also known as Rana Tahir Nadeem. The movie is set in Jammu & Kashmir and was mostly shot on location to capture the region’s real essence. A special screening was also held for BSF jawans in Srinagar, making it a truly memorable event.

Although the film’s initial theatre occupancy is not high, the early reviews have been very positive. Viewers are appreciating the film’s realism, emotional depth, and Emraan Hashmi’s powerful performance.

One user on social media shared,
