Pradeep Ranganathan’s latest Tamil coming-of-age comedy-drama Dragon has taken the box office by storm. The film recently surpassed Ajith Kumar’s Vidaamuyarchi to become the highest-grossing Tamil movie worldwide. Let’s take a closer look at how Dragon is performing at the box office on its 24th day.

Dragon Worldwide Box Office Collection – Day 24

As per early estimates from Sacnilk, Dragon earned approximately 98 lakhs on its 24th day. The day-wise collection remains consistent with the previous day’s earnings. The total India net collection of the film has now reached 97.71 crores.

When taxes are included, the total gross collection in India stands at 115.29 crores. The film has also performed well in international markets, accumulating around 32.75 crores in overseas earnings. This brings the total worldwide box office collection of Dragon to 148.04 crores, inching closer to the 150-crore milestone.

Dragon Surpasses Love Today by 77%

Before Dragon, Pradeep Ranganathan’s biggest box office success was the 2022 romantic film Love Today, which he directed and starred in. The lifetime worldwide collection of Love Today was approximately 83.55 crores. In comparison, Dragon has already collected 148.04 crores, making it 77% more successful than Love Today.

Dragon Shows Massive Profitability

Reports suggest that Dragon was made on a budget of around 35 crores. With its current India net collection of 97.71 crores, the Return on Investment (ROI) now stands at 62.71 crores. This results in an ROI percentage of 179%.

Despite its massive success, Dragon has yet to become the most profitable Tamil film of 2025. That title still belongs to Madha Gaja Raja, directed by Ashwath Marimuthu. However, with Dragon continuing to perform well at the box office, it may soon challenge for the top spot.
