Brad Pitt is open to working with Tom Cruise again, but he has one condition — no dangerous stunts. The 61-year-old actor recently shared that while he’s happy to act alongside Cruise again, he’s not interested in doing any over-the-top action scenes this time.

Pitt and Cruise last worked together more than 30 years ago in the 1994 film Interview with the Vampire. Fans have long hoped to see them reunite, and now it looks like it could happen — as long as Pitt can stay grounded, literally.

Brad Pitt’s next movie is F1, a fast-paced racing film directed by Top Gun: Maverick filmmaker Joseph Kosinski. In this film, Pitt plays Sonny Hayes, a former Formula One champion who returns to the racetrack. He teams up with a young and talented driver, Joshua Pearce, played by Damson Idris, to chase one more shot at becoming the best in the world.

Even though Pitt wants to avoid risky stunts in a future film with Tom Cruise, he took some serious risks while filming F1. In fact, he actually drove real Formula One cars during the shoot — reaching speeds of up to 180 miles per hour.

Director Joseph Kosinski praised Brad Pitt’s driving skills during a Q&A session in March. “He had a natural feel for the grip and speed,” Kosinski said. “What we’re doing in this film is very dangerous, so it takes a lot of courage. When you see Brad driving, it’s not acting — it’s real.”

Kosinski added that Brad was always focused and in control behind the wheel. “Keeping a Formula One car on the track is tough, and Brad took it seriously. That kind of realism can’t be faked. I think audiences will feel that intensity when they watch the movie.”

To prepare for the film, Pitt trained for months and even worked with Formula One legend Sir Lewis Hamilton, a seven-time world champion. Lewis helped Brad understand the deeper details of racing and the mindset of a professional driver.

While Pitt’s comment about not doing big stunts might seem funny, it highlights the different styles between him and Tom Cruise — who is known for doing most of his own dangerous stunts in movies like Mission: Impossible. Still, the idea of Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise teaming up again is exciting for fans all over the world.

If they do end up making a movie together, it will surely be one of the biggest Hollywood reunions in years — even if Brad stays out of the sky and keeps his feet on the ground.
