The sequel’s opening-day performance is quite close to that of other recent hits like Free Guy ($10.4 million) and The Fall Guy ($10.5 million). Looking ahead, The Accountant 2 is expected to earn between $23 million and $28 million in its first weekend in North America. Plus, it received a strong “A–” grade from CinemaScore, showing that audiences are very happy with what they saw.
