Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s latest Telugu action drama Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi began its journey at the box office on a strong note. However, just two weeks after its release, the film’s performance has drastically dropped. On its 14th day, the movie could only earn ₹14 lakhs*, showing a sharp decline in its box office momentum.

According to data from Sacnilk, Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi collected ₹14 lakhs* on Day 14. This is a drop of about 36% compared to the ₹22 lakhs it made on the previous day (Day 13). The film’s total India net collection now stands at ₹12.65 crores*.
The numbers are not encouraging for the makers, as the film has shown very little growth in its second week. Despite a promising start, poor word of mouth and mixed to negative reviews from both audiences and critics have taken a toll on its performance.

Comparison with Devil: The British Secret Agent
Interestingly, Kalyan Ram’s earlier release Devil: The British Secret Agent performed better during its initial 14-day run. That film earned ₹17.63 crores in the same time frame, about 28% more than Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi. This comparison highlights the underwhelming response to his latest outing.
Will Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi Recover Its Budget?
The movie was made on a reported budget of ₹44 crores. So far, with just ₹12.65 crores in the bank, it has recovered only around 28% of its cost. With collections dropping daily and little buzz left around the film, it seems unlikely that Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi will make a strong comeback.
Trade analysts predict that the film may wrap up its theatrical run below ₹15 crores. This would make it one of the weaker performers in Kalyan Ram’s recent career.
