Akshay Kumar’s Kesari Chapter 2 Highlights the Courage of C Sankaran Nair; PM Modi Pays Tribute.

Fans are eagerly waiting for the release of Kesari Chapter 2, starring Akshay Kumar. The film is expected to hit theatres soon, and it promises to bring an inspiring real-life story to the big screen. The movie tells the story of C Sankaran Nair, a brave lawyer and freedom fighter who took a bold stand against the British after the tragic Jallianwala Bagh massacre.

Before the film’s release, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to C Sankaran Nair during his visit to Haryana. He spoke about how Nair could have lived a comfortable life as a member of the Viceroy’s Executive Council under British rule. But instead, he chose to fight for India’s freedom. He was one of the few who had the courage to sue the British Crown for genocide. The Prime Minister also said that it is unfortunate that many people still don’t know about this great man and his contributions to India’s freedom movement.

Sharing this important moment, Akshay Kumar took to social media to thank PM Modi for remembering C Sankaran Nair. In his post, Akshay wrote,
“Thank you Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji for remembering the great Chettur Sankaran Nair ji and his contribution to our freedom struggle. It is so important that we as a nation, especially the younger generation, value the great women and men who fought valiantly to ensure that we breathe in a free country! Our Kesari Chapter 2 is a humble effort to remind everyone that we must never take our freedom for granted.”

Karan Johar, who is one of the producers of the film, shared Akshay Kumar’s post on his Instagram story. He also thanked the Prime Minister for remembering C Sankaran Nair. Karan highlighted that Nair’s story is one that remains “unheard, unread, and untold” by many even today.

Actress Ananya Panday, who also plays a lead role in Kesari Chapter 2, shared the video of PM Modi’s speech on her social media handle. She wrote about how it is important for today’s youth to know about C Sankaran Nair and other heroes who gave everything for India’s independence.

Kesari Chapter 2 stars Akshay Kumar, R Madhavan, and Ananya Panday in the lead roles. The film has been directed by Karan Singh Tyagi and produced by a strong team including Hiroo Yash Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Amritpal Singh Bindra, and Anand Tiwari.

The movie is presented by Dharma Productions, Cape Of Good Films, and Leo Media Collective. It is co-produced by Marijke deSouza, Somen Mishra, and Vedant Baali. The script has been written by Karan Singh Tyagi and Amritpal Singh Bindra.
