With this film, Ajith Kumar has achieved the biggest opening of his career. His previous best was Valimai, which released in February 2022 and had collected ₹47.80 crore gross on its first day. That record stood for 37 months until Good Bad Ugly came along and beat it with ease. This proves that Thala Ajith still rules the hearts of fans and can draw huge crowds to theatres.
