It also includes tiny glass crystals that shine under light, giving the dress a magical and luxurious feel.

One of the most unique parts of Aishwarya’s outfit is the Banarasi brocade cape she wore over the gown. This cape was handwoven in Varanasi, India, and has a Sanskrit shloka (verse) from the Bhagavad Gita written on it. The meaning of the verse is: “You have the right to perform your actions, but not to the fruits of those actions. Let not the fruits of action be your motive, nor let your attachment be to inaction.” This spiritual message added depth and culture to her modern, high-fashion look.
