Janhvi Kapoor Speaks Out on India-Pakistan Conflict, Praises Indian Armed Forces
Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor has shared her thoughts on the recent India-Pakistan conflict. The Devara actress took to social media to express her concern over the ongoing war-like situation and praised the bravery of the Indian armed forces. She also opened up about the emotional toll the situation has taken on her.
Janhvi began by describing her experience watching the news unfold. She wrote that the scenes she saw on television and social media felt unreal, like something out of a movie. “The visuals that unfolded on news channels and social media last night felt like they were something out of a movie,” she wrote. “Something I never imagined I would see happening on Indian soil in my lifetime.”
She admitted that the situation left her feeling anxious and disturbed. “It was a kind of anxiety I had never experienced before,” Janhvi added. “It made me think about how we often talk about wars in other countries from a safe distance. But now, it’s happening close to home. It’s at our doorstep.”
While Janhvi acknowledged the pain and anger that has led to the current conflict, she also expressed deep concern for innocent people on both sides of the border. “I have felt every moment of rage and pain that led to this defensive action,” she wrote. “But the threat to innocent lives on both sides makes me feel scared. In my heart, I believe that hurting innocent people is the biggest sin—no matter the reason.”
The actress went on to speak about the values that India stands for. She said that India has never been the one to start wars or invade other countries. “We are not aggressors. We don’t force ourselves into places where we are not welcome. We are India. And after years of being attacked, we finally said—enough.”
Janhvi praised the Indian armed forces for their courage and strength. She expressed gratitude for the sense of safety they provide during such uncertain times. “Our Air Force, Navy, and Army are strong and brave. They will never let harm come to a single Indian. They are protecting our land and our people. I salute them and pray for their safety.”
She also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his leadership and support during this difficult time. In her closing message, Janhvi called on all Indians to stand together in unity. “Let’s stay united and strong. Let us show our neighbors that we will not ignore their actions anymore.”
