Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s latest Telugu film Jack, a spy action-comedy, is having a slow but steady journey at the box office. The movie hit the theatres on April 10, 2025, and has completed three days of its theatrical run. Here’s a detailed look at the film’s day 3 performance and overall box office numbers.

Jack Day 3 Box Office Collection

According to early estimates from Sacnilk, Jack collected around ₹92 lakhs on its third day at the Indian box office. This shows a small drop of about 8% compared to the second day, when the film earned ₹1.01 crore. The movie had opened at ₹2.5 crores on its first day, which was considered low for a Siddhu Jonnalagadda starrer.

Interestingly, instead of showing growth on its second day (which is common for weekend releases), Jack saw a sharp dip of around 59% from its opening day. This indicates that the film is struggling to maintain a strong hold at the box office.

As of now, Jack’s total India net collection stands at approximately ₹4.43 crores. The movie needs to earn just ₹57 lakhs more to cross the ₹5 crore mark.

Mixed Word of Mouth Affecting Performance

One of the major reasons for the film’s slow performance is its mixed-to-negative response from the audience. Many viewers have shared that the movie did not meet their expectations, and this has impacted its box office numbers.

For a film like Jack, which belongs to a commercial genre with elements of comedy and action, positive word of mouth is crucial. Without it, the film is finding it difficult to attract more audiences to theatres.

Occupancy Report on Day 3

Despite the mixed reviews, Jack had a decent occupancy rate on its third day. The morning shows recorded a 25% occupancy, which slightly increased to 27% in the afternoon. However, the film saw a drop in the evening shows with 21% occupancy. Thankfully, the night shows helped the movie recover with 25% occupancy again. Overall, Jack had an average occupancy rate of 24% across all shows.

Jack Marks Siddhu’s Lowest Opening Post-Pandemic

It’s worth noting that Jack is Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s lowest opener since the COVID-19 pandemic. His previous film, Tillu Square (2024), had a much stronger start with an opening day collection of ₹11.70 crores. In comparison, Jack opened with nearly 78% less.

Cast and Crew Details

Jack has been directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar, who is known for directing feel-good entertainers. The film features Siddhu Jonnalagadda in the lead role, along with Vaishnavi Chaitanya and veteran actor Prakash Raj in important roles. The music of the film has been composed by Sam CS.

Final Thoughts

While Jack had the potential to do well, especially with a star like Siddhu Jonnalagadda and a popular genre, it seems to be falling short in terms of content and word of mouth. The next few days will be crucial for the film’s box office fate. If it doesn’t pick up soon, crossing major milestones might be difficult.
